Replacement for Lionel whistles?
Posted by nitroboy on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 4:33 PM
I want to put a digital sounding whistle in my post war tender. Where do I get these? Or do they make them for post war engines? I don't care about mounting or drilling issues to the frame of the tender.

Thanks

You could get a new or used railsounds tender. I pretty sure it has a whistle/chuff. I have heard good things about it. Has kind of a generic style too it, could go on any steamer.

Train America Studios is offering the William True Blast whistle/bell complete with speaker for $35. You would need to call them as its not listed at their web site. Its very easy to install.
