I have bought 2 Ross switches to date and will buy more as I put up my new layout. Also got a new engine(new to me) for my layout, a Weaver C-630 diesel with QSI sound system, replaced the ni-cad battery as well.

I have problems with my MTH steam engine going through Gargraves 042 switches. So I am considering buying Ross Custom switches.

Sounds like a smart move to me.

They also do not like some postwar Lionel, engines with slide shoe pickups and cars with the sliding shoe for the electromagnet style couplers from the early postwar era.  Ross switchs are far better.  Mike
