WOW RT, I know you were close, as with so many here.

  I did not know him but did see a lot of his post. All were fair and good. He seemed to be a honorable man and true to the hobby. RIP   Boxcar Bill. Angel

May you run trains with the others who passed before you.

My deepest condolences to his family, he will be missed.

 

I also had the pleasure of talking trains will BILL and also everything else, his living in the Harrisburg,Pa. area, fishing Lake Erie, Cleveland Indians baseball, and drinking Ol Milwaukees.  Great guy with a great sense of humor.

 

Say a prayer and give BILL a toot of the whistle when you run your trains next.

From OGR site dated 25 sept 2015  one of the member called to check and see how Boxcar bill was doing as he was ill well Boxcar bill has gone to the train yard in the sky a lot of you may know him as who we got out ERR items from to up grade to TMCC He will surely be missed as was a asset to the hobby
