s2 6200 conventional mode

Have a new lionel s2 6200.Can't get it to run in conventional mode.Engine lights come on,engine has smoke, tender has sound. But can't get it to move. Thanks for any help. I don't have any legacy equipment.

Can't believe no one has responded yet.  You may have the run/program switch in the program position.  Move it to 'run' and see what happens
