A Different Sort of Bell-Clanging 622!
Posted by IDM1991 on Sunday, September 6, 2015 8:59 PM

I returned home yesterday after some two and half weeks' work in Toronto, where I was serving as an interpreter for a travelling museum exhibit at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE).  When the 11:13 AM Lakeshore East GO Train arrived, I was both amused and delighted to see that the big MP40PH-3C passenger locomotive was numbered "622."  This locomotive featured a continuously-clanging bell (or at least, when travelling through station areas, as per Canadian law), reminding me of a certain other locomotive with an identical number and a continously-ringing bell!  An interesting coincidence, to say the least.

What a fun story and a cool observation on your part. The 622 is one of my favorite PW locomotives. Thanks for sharing. This brought a smile to my face on a (long) day of painting wood work projects.
