I went out to my train room tonight to try the GP-30 one more time before calling Lionel for help and it ran flawlessly, no problems at all. I ran it for 45 minutes without any problems. I don't get it.

New GP-30 mis behaving
Posted by overall on Monday, August 17, 2015 8:34 PM

I have a new Legacy GP-30 diesel that was working fine up until tonight.A few days ago, I unpacked it, programmed it and it ran well no problem. Now whenever I increase the track voltage to about 10 volts, the sounds come on and the locomotive does not obey any commands. It even does this if I put the run/program switch into program. I was going to re-program it to retore features, but putting it into program does not let me program it. help me out here.

Thanks,

George
