I have one too. It was on the layout for a few years. Odd thing about mine is that the original bulb had no markings on it, and the instruction sheet had no info as to what bulb they recommended to use with it. I know the bulb would depend on the voltage you send to it, but it seemed odd to me.

 

It was on the layout until I found an American Flyer checkerboard water tower to replace it.

I have one. Like it. Only thing is its tough finding bulbs that get hot enough to make it bubble and not burn out. I found 18v work good. But again, not easy to find. At least in my neck of the woods.
