QUOTE: Originally posted by Big_Boy_4005 By the way, if you don't see Mr Truth or Mr Bear around anymore, it is due to the fact that they exposed themselves, and were subsequently busted. I do expect them to rejoin under new names, and perhaps even multiply their personalities, as that is the typical pattern.
QUOTE: We decided it would be a friendly gesture, for us to take the garbage down to the city dump. We took the half of a ton of garbage into, loaded it the back of a red VW micro-bus, took shovels and rakes and impliments of distruction, and headed off toward the city dump. Well we got there, and there was a sign, and a chain across the dump, saying closed on Thanksgiving. We had never heard of a dump closed on Thanksgiving before, and with tears in our eyes we drove off looking for another place to put the garbage. We didn't find one until we came to a side road, and off the side of the side road was a 15 foot cliff, and at the bottom of the cliff was another pile of garbage. We figured that one big pile was better than two little piles, and rather than bring that one up, we decided to throw ours down. That's what we did. Then we drove back to the church and had a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat, and didn't get up until the next morning....... Arlo Guthrie
