Hello Seafoid! You're very welcome for the Help. And if you do send your Train to the Village Train Shop,You can be assured that you will not be disappointed in the quality of the work done there.I picked up a prewar Lionel 1684 that was restored and It looks better than a mint original and i'm very happy with it.So.take care and have fun with your Trains[:)]....Later...Keith.

Keith

Thanks for the help. I'll give them a call. I'm kind of surprised that out of all of the users of this forum that I've only gotten one suggestion.

Thanks again.

Restoration needed
Posted by seafoid on Monday, November 15, 2004 10:55 PM
I am looking fro someone to restore a set of three Lionel Standard gauge passenger cars. They do not need major work. One needs to have the curved vestibule end resoldered to the body of the car. Couplers are missing, marker lights, etc. need the be replaced and trucks need to be reattached. I am in the Chicago area, but can ship to some one who does good work at a reasonable price. If anyone can recommed someone, I would appreciate it. I can give additional details as needed.

Thanks for the help.
