Plasticville passenger train station, with moving people. For O gauge train platform
Posted by ron57 on Saturday, March 28, 2015 6:53 PM

I modified this vintage O gauge Plasticville train station to include realistic moving people going about their day. I also modified the building, updating the roof with gray shingle roofing and the exterior walls to a brown stucco finish with wood trim.
Comments on this project appreciated, and suggestions for new projects welcome!

Very nice job. You managed to get a great deal of action in a very small scene.  I like your use of readily available materials too.  Plastiville and Woodland Scenics figures look very good in motion.

Outstanding really great job What you need to do is do a write-up on how you did all this and pictures and send to Bob Keller he might like it and put some change in your pocket for it

Wow, Ron...you did a great job on the station! It must have been a challenge to animate the five figures, but your efforts sure paid off.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, it means alot to me.
Some of you might have notice from the audio that I have autism
but is gifted. this is the reason I don,t reply alot.

As for the stucco finish. I used Rustoleum textured finish desert bisque, this is also
great for sidewalks and driveways( put cut in the sidewalk to make them real.

For the  animation there is 1 motor, 2 switches(foward & reverse stop) and a solid state relay with timer, and alot of levers.Smile

Very detailed Ron. Thanks so much for sharing.

This would make a great article in CTT as how to do this. Cool
