is the digital subscription as good as getting it in the mail. Do you get all the magazine. What else do you get with it?

I'm sure Bob will comment also but from what I understand yes plus  most of the mags that have everbeen publish so if your looking for a certain article from about 3 years ago say you can go and retrive it I'm concidering go this route I normally give any mags I have over 2 years old once a year to the V.A. for veterans that are there.

You get the digital magazine, the product review videos and Bob's Train Box are subscriber only, and we will occasionallypost PDFs or videos that accompany feature stories that are subscriber-only.

Thanks for the response, Bob. Can you confirm rt's comment regarding the ability to view historical editions?

Thanks, swede

I didn't catch that. Not at all. Model Railroader is the only title with an on-line archive.

Your access to CTT digital editions starts with the issue you begin your digital subscription with. For example if you started with the May 2015 issue, you could not access the January 2015 issue.

We will be selling the first 20 years on a DVD (see the May issue) but we are still testing the first version and don't expect for it to be finalized and manufactured until the summer. There is no connection between the digital subscriptions and the back issue DVD archive.
