Well, I suppose it had to happen eventually. Our 6650 missile car, run often but fired infrequently, has torn the rubber diaphragm that lets the missile arm rise slowly. I've consulted my usual parts sources, but can't locate a replacement. This part joins a list of small similar parts I'd like to replace on several cars. Does anyone know a source for the rubber diaphragm? Where can you find these "missle-aneous" small parts to make one order from a single source? The shipping is often as much as the part for these little pieces, so I'd like to order a group of parts from a single vendor and pay once for shipping as much as possible.

I figured if they made them recently, Brausseurs (sp?) and Jeff Kane at the the Train Tender may have them as well and would also charge a ton less for shippping. Brausseurs didn't have it, but the Train Tender site says they do and it's $4.75. If you're not familiar with his site, here's the address:
