You probably know that the rivet press outfit regularly sells for many times what you paid for it.
There are four variations of the rivet press, but there is no difference in value. All the press outfits came with a fifteen piece tool set. The last presses, which were offered in the Modern era did not come with a block. The older ones came with a red wooden tool block.
The wheels cups were sold seperately.

Should you decide to expand your set, the tools made by Hobby Horse, TTRP, and Jeff Kane all fit into the Lionel press, but some of the larger tools may not be usable, due to the size of the throat, as compared to the TTRP and Hobby Horse presses.

If you use your tools outside of the press, do not strike them with a hard metal hammer. I use either a plastic or a rubber hammer in those instances.

Enjoy your outfit. I use an arbor press quite often while repairing trains, and they come in handy for other work too.

The Doctor is in! I was talking to my girlfriend's cousin, who was a Lionel serviceman for some time and he mentioned he wanted to sell his Arbor press, with all tools and wheel cups! I asked him how much, he said $50.00! After picking my lower jaw off the desk, I said I will take it! I had also asked about parts, He had given them to a friend but still had the Service manuals! I bought them also along with some catalogs and an 8 mm film about Lionel(don't know what is on it yet, going to get copied to DVD. I will pass along what paper items I have and may sell some. More soon!
