I got all of the side inserts out. The clear cab pieces are still in.

I've always had good results using Testor's Liquid cement (the kind with the fingernail brush on lid.  Just touch a corner, and let the capilary action work, then gently pry loose.

Painting a GP38 shell?

I'm painting a Clinchfield GP38 #6005 to DM&E paint scheme. How do I remove the rear clear insert for the lights & number board without breaking it? I have it unscrewed but can only rock it back and forth only getting it moved about 1/4". Do I have to remove the papers to do it? I see reflective stuff on one paper and I'm sure that would have to go back in. Also do the rear side clear pieces come out? Or the clear pieces behind the cab? I'm planning on removing every clear insert before priming and painting.
