Try spraying some electronic contact cleaner into the e-unit, then let it dry before testing.

2343 e unit

My father in laws 2343 e unit works but only at a higher voltage on the track. Is it pretty safe to assume that I need to do a rebuild/cleaning of the unit. My other 2343 cycles great at minimal voltage and that is why something needs to be done.
