Most boxcars use a #4x1/4 screw for body mounting, possibly a flat head, phillips drive.
Is this for the CR9001 boxcar? (6-9001)

If this is not a repaint, and is the 9001 Conrail box car, this car never was missing a screw. The car came with a plastic base floor with a short flat single slot on one end, and a round pin type nub on the other end of the base.
You bend the base slightly to insert the frame into the box car. It is possible some one replaced the plastic base with an older postwar sheet metal type. It is also possible the round pin holder on the plastic base has been broken, which would cause the car to remain lose from the base frame.
But the orignal car came with a plastic base, which is also used for the short 027 tank cars.
