AMERICAN FLYER question
Posted by traindaddy1 on Sunday, December 21, 2014 6:56 PM

HELP:

Just received a shrink-wrapped American Flyer spotlight car. It is marked Southern Pacific 934. Before I remove the wrap, got a question.

Will this car work on Lionel 027 three rail track?

AS ALWAYS, MANY THANKS.

If my memory serves me correctly the 934 is a post war car in the S gauge line.  So it will not work on O gauge track.

No.  The Flyer postwar items are set up for a different gauge of track.

Your 934 SP was made in 1954.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask.  Was this a blind purchase, a gift, or a deliberate decision on your part?

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
