Demay However, I have not wired it to a section of isolated track. And if I understand you correctly, you want me to create a block section specifically for the 952B?

No. Just don't have the loop of track that the controller is powering connected to any other loops, via switches/turnouts or transformers. The controller switches the polarity of the entire loop, which would cause unintended results on a larger layout with several interconnected loops.
Demay I also have not tried the tender alone yet? I will try that one tonight or tomorrow. Same for loading more cars. I have loaded more cars when I was trying to get the 1044 to sound the whistle on its own, but it didn't work either. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again, Joe

No isolated section needed. The wires from the red & black posts on the K-952B power the entire track - black to lockon clip 2(outside rails) and red to lockon clip 1(center rail).
