Need help finding pieces to complete new layout

Hello everyone,

We have expanded out layout this year to include sidings but this has left me some gaps and before I go out and just order 1/4, 1/2 036 and 048 I was hoping someone with more experience could tell me exaclty what pieces I needed to make this work.  The layout is a 6x7, with an outer loop and inner loop using 048 remote swtiches.  I'm trying to add two sidings to it using 036 manual switches.  How do I make this all line up parallel to each other?  Here is a picture of what I've done so far, ignore the dark track in the middle that is for the kids christmas train.
