Attention Santa Fe fans

I just got the mth catalog in the mail and have a question on the santa fe E an the cover. I have never seen a nose hearld that looks like this. Is it distorted, or did some engines have the side stripes bend down to the oval hearld.
I the the green frog santa fe oddsey vol 1 and all types of early diesels are on it in color and I can;t find one with a nose hearld such as this. Dave.
