I bought a roll of this 12 volt LED strip lighting today. It was half price due to the double sided tape having gone bad. Knowing darn well this stuff works off of DC I went ahead and put it in a set of 7 cheapy passenger cars anyway. Seems to work fine although the claim that they're warm white is bogus. I colored each LED with a red Sharpie.
