If you have been following Weekend Photo Fun, you are aware I have been working on a miniature project for the local Christmas Festival. It's pretty much completed so I thought I would repost the series of WIP pictures and some shots of the final project:
The finished diorama is 16" wide by 11" high. I'm still debating if I want to put some Christmas lights in the window. I have a few weeks to decide.
I have figured out what is wrong with my brain! On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
That looks amazing! Excellent work!
Instead of a string of lights around the window, maybe you could suggest a lighted tree in the background. Maybe looking like it's on a sales counter or something.

Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!

I hadn't thought of a miniature Christmas tree, I'll have to look into that. Thanks.

That diorama is really unique in terms of extending detail to a whole level onto itself. Very cool concept . I did essentially the same thing in G scale by super detailing "Santa's house" by adding interior furnishings flooring, exterior Christmas lights wall coverings etc. Talk about working in a small scale..my hats off to you.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.
That looks amazing! Right down to the wires going between the track and transformer. I think I would opt for the lights around the window instead of the tree though. The lights would draw attention to the display. I think the tree may draw attention from it.
Oh, and I think the display needs some telephone poles, street lights, a rotary beacon on the tunnel, and of course some people
Great job; thanks for sharing!
