Do you know for sure the electromagnet is bad? Have you powered up the electromagnet directly to see if it works? As far as I know, the entire electromagnet assembly itself is replaced, not just the coil. If you can post a clear close up picture of your electromagnet assembly and the replacement coil, that would help.

The electromagnetic part in my 182 isn't working anymore so I bought the replacement cylinder, however I'm not sure how to remove the old one and insert the new one. I'd rather ask now before I try to open it with a screw driver and find out that's not the way to open the existing one. Please help.
