I just bought a TMCC RS-11 Diesel. when I run it on a layout with TMCC on it works fine. When I run it on a conventional layout everything works except the power. the engine starts up then runs at one speed no matter what i do. I'm thinking the odyssey is set but when I follow the instructions to turn off odyssey it will not work. I'm running the conventional layout with an old 1950's LW 125volt transformer. The engine is from 1997 and I see no turn off switch for Odyssey. Any Idea's. can I take out Odyssey and not replace it or replace with something better?
