Good Morning from Blueberryhill........
Good Morning, Joe..........Did you ever take any videos of your baseball team ?
It is a cool and sunny 60 degrees. Going up to 82 today.
Today is an easy day. I plan on relaxing after a few chores. Baseball game this afternoon.
Cheerios for breakfast on the dining car.
Y'all have a great Sunday.
Chuck
Konbanwa and Ohayo Chuck,
I'm not sure what happened yesterday, but Saturday came and went unexpectedly fast. The baseball team won again which was great. Then one of the older division (11-12 y/o) teams was short a player so my son had the opportunity to play with them. He had two plate appearances and walked both times; he didn't receive too many good pitches. He also had two nice plays in the field the two times the ball was hit his way. Last night we stopped by a barbecue for one of the guys in my office who is retiring and then the wife and I had a dinner-date. We had Sunday school and church this morning as well as a church potluck following the service. The rest of today has been relaxation as usual.
Laz - I'm all about the kids having fun. The only times I get upset are when they don't pay attention. A 10 y/o boy should not be practicing Kung Fu while he is playing LF.
Hudson John - Unfortunately you might be right. I say this because far too many of the other coaches are not as organized or involved as me.
Sayonara,
Joe
Good evening all,
Grandson's team won today 0-6 and he got a goal on a breakaway. Daughter's family took me out to brunch after the game at a locally owned family restaurant. That was nice. Sato had gear trouble and was 18th in Detroit as the slow spiral to the bottom of the point standings continues. Indy 11 lost a heart breaker as San Antonio got a goal with one minute to go in stoppage time. Overall, there has been better days. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

This evening was granddaughters 7th birthday party. Dirt Drags tomorrow and Hillclimb on Sunday. Too wet to Farm anyway.
From the photo’s Charlie posted it looks like the predictions of long lasting ice on the lakes were accurate
Ray.........how's the Mrs?
Chief....help with mowing would be greatly appreciated here
Doug…….great job on the General
Ryan……How goes the garage?????
Best head to bed. Hope to trim bushes and mow before it’s time to leave tomorrow
Prayers for those in need

Good afternoon all,
Wasted day in meeting. Only good thing is that all the others could not work on anything to put me further behind on Monday. Did see a nice Celtic music show at noon. Mowed yard tonight. Wife still puny. Ceiling is done in back bathroom. Going to see grandson play soccer tomorrow. Sato 7th quick in practice today at Detroit Hopefully some good luck will come to the Foyt team this weekend. I hope everyone has a good day.

Don B. sounds like a lot of fun running multiple trains/units. I have not tried any lash ups on DCS. That's the way they run modern trains though with a remote controlled helper on the rear. I suppose it looks better than nothing but a fred on the rear end. Hard to tell if they're coming are going anymore. They were just starting that remote business when I retired. Glad I got out when I did. Not my kind of railroading.

Good Morning,
Been very busy this past week, working on our website's data base. Adding a cross reference capability that requires developing associations with practically every laser cartridge and the relative printer they are related too.
Also, have been spending some time in the train room. (Yahoo) I had been watching some videos for the Cajon Pass area, unbelievable how much traffic goes through there on a daily biases. So I have been trying to simulate creating lash-ups with stack cars, or piggy-back trains. Goal has been to have two trains running in opposite directions. So far been close but haven't quite made it. I have both trains configured with 3 engines, (1 pusher) and 14 piggy back, 10 auto cars & stack cars. Its been tricky to control, one train is MTH the other TMCC. ANY minor track issue is amplified, then operator error are the biggest issues. Must be extremely careful that the engines stay in sink, and the train is built correctly, to ensure couplers are not over stressed. Its been fun.
Today continue with the website, then get ready for the weekend, show on Saturday, then "The Big Train Show" on Sunday in Ontario.
Ray, prayers for you and your wife that you get some good news soon.
Going to get to work so Be Careful, and Stay Healthy!
Don

That's a great combination. I like sliced bananas or strawberries on them too.
Hi GUYZ,
Nice and cool here at 53 getting up to 76. Gotta rebuild neighbors shed today and tomorrow. Rip off roof and the old T111 siding. Replace with all new materials. Gotta rip out juniper and the replace other shrub and cut grass. Take cut off branches and damage from storms on Tuesday to compost center. Then have fire outside with WIFEY.
JOEY D. just remember in baseball, "You win some, you loose some, some get rained out, but ya gotta dress for them all". It's just a game, man, let em have fun.
RAY, prayers for DA WIFE hope things get better.
SJ & CHARLIE, looks like YUZ GUYZ got a good place to keep your beers cold.

Y'all have a great Friday.
I had a busy night last night and ran out of time to post. The baseball team had a game. It was close and we pulled out a 1-0 win. I think there were a few times I nearly lost my cool. Today was a typical Friday at work. The baseball team has another game tomorrow morning.
Hudson John - Thanks. Most of the kids have progressed but I have a few who are still struggling. I'm very pleased with our 6-0 record.
Another quiet day at work. Boring meeting tomorrow. Played soccer locally tonight. Team lost 6-4. I played ok. Wife is sick from stuff she caught last weekend. Go figure. Got MTH catalogs yesterday. I hope everyone has a good day.
Evening all. Home from lake and busy as a bee [or a cat in a cream factory]. Getting yards and etc. ready for Wifey's big garden show Sat. morning.
Back surgery spot doing well. Stiches itches [means getting well everyone says].
Will look through all the missed posts later.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill.........

Cheerios is being served for breakfast on the dining car.
Y'all have a great Thursday.
I played well in our first game of the season, which was a 3-2 loss. Work was quiet, but still got some things done. Weather is still sticky. I hope everyone has a good day.
Evenin' boys. Evenin' Englsih. Passing showers and, oh heck who cares. Glad I'm not in Marquett! How depressing would that be to look at.
SPMan - for you Mrs...and for you.
dougnotta - If we had your blue water, I might not be moving to WV.
Hudson - Actually, she fell in love with one that was <K.
Good morning all,
Back after my usual long absence. Just don't seem to have enough hours in the day anymore. Of course as the years pass it takes longer to do everything
Hope everyone is doing well. Ray, Our prayers are with you and your wife for a speedy & optimistic diagnosis.
After a great holiday week end with beautiful weather we had a short but wild storm last evening which dropped .6" of rain in a very short time. No local damage but our daughter who lives North of us was without electric all evening until late.
I think Summer is finally hear, now we can complain about the humidity
Take care all.
Aloha. Greyer and cooler after yesterday's gully-washer rain storms. Missed the TARDIS too - Messenger crashed as soon as I tried to log on. I noticed the airbag light has gone on in the wife's car - I'm sure it's because she adjusted the passenger side seat. Ever since these clowns put in an aftermarket seat-heater (without telling me it was wasn't the brand I thought I was purchasing), we've had all sorts of problems with the sensors. This will probably necessitate another drive out to the dealer. Oh well. Ray, prayers for your wife's prognosis and treatment.

Good Morning, Joe.....Hope you have a nice evening.
Konbanwa and Ohayo Chuck (you beat me to the post today),
The workday was uneventful but productive today. I was able to catch a quick Tardis ride during my lunch break. It was nice to catch up with SJ, RT, Brutus, and Kev. I'm off to bed early tonight.
SJ - I figured you'd be out there sunbathing in that water.
I'll pray for all of us in need.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill.......
It is a cloudy and humid 64 degrees. Going up to 80 with some sunshine.
Today is a busy day. I have an errand to run and some chores to do. I will be working until lunch. Then, maybe a nap.
Y'all have a great Wednesday.
Good day at work, quiet but busy. Moved 2 trees tonight. Turned A/C on today. Engine light on PT was for gas cap. First the mini-van, now the PT, the engine light is basically worthless. Will keep driving it until it makes a terminal sound. I hope everyone has a good day.
dougdagrump Chief, You wouldn't believe what the city, San Diego, is doing with the flea market/swap meets here. Any seller that participates in more than two meets per year is required to have a permit as well as a tax license.

Doug, they have been doing that at train meets here in L.A. for years.
Doug when I lived in Hampton, VA if you had more than 2 yard sales a year you had to do that and to top it off you could only put out 2 signs to direct traffic to where your sale was
