About Those Subscriber Extras
Posted by wallyworld on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 12:06 PM

I have to say that I am impressed by the wealth of material posted as subscriber extras as well as the reasonable updating by the insertion of new material. I subscribe to four Kalmbach rail related magazines and along with Trains magazine, I am impressed with CTT's expansion of coverage especially with Rodger Carps video segments. Bob's segments never fail to entertain. Two of the other publications offer much less updated material, so much so that I seldom bother to stop by and I think the only improvement that could be made is the lessening of this aggressive pop up advertising that blocks my way to enter the site as a subscriber..Pop ups alone do not a sale make..and I have noticed a drop off in the volume of the magazine's forum submissions as a long time reader. Are the two related?

Maybe, maybe not. In either event, I continue to enjoy both the subscriber extras and the forum despite the pop up road blocks...

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.
