Hey Rob! Turned out that one of the wires from the "field" had broken off (inside) so I ended up changing the motor out...works great now! Thanks so much for you help! Rick :-)

Follow this diagram:

"PICK-ROLLERS" connection to one post, "GROUND" to the other. Disregard the lamp connection.

#125 Whistle Station wiring...
Posted by RK416 on Thursday, April 3, 2014 3:25 PM

I just received a really nice 125 Whistle Station and I need some help in re-wiring the whistle to the posts. The whistle was detached from the base and needs re-gluing. Where do the hot and ground wires solder to on the unit. Only found a wiring diagram from the accessory to the track/transformer. I tried putting some power to it, but it only hums (did clean the commutator face/brushes, etc.) Thanks so much for any help in getting this whistle up and running again! :-)
