So the Ground Hog says 6 more weeks of winter, and who is ready for Spring Break?

I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

Here is what I 've been working on for the past month.  It is done in 8 sections so I did not have to work atop the layout on my knees.  Hope you like it?  I do.

Love that Loch Ness monster in the pond!  I suppose you'll have to get a "Hogwarts Express"  or another British-themed train to keep it from getting homesick!

VERY nice mountain,  LAZ.  It is obvious that you put a lot of thought and work into it.

Traindaddy......... A big Thumbs UpThumbs UpThumbs UpThumbs Up for your stone edge idea.  WowBow  I could see using brown rock spray paint on your stone edgers.

Very nice pictures, everyone!

As seen on my clockwork layout today:

Although I rotate different windups on and off the railroad depending on my whims, this particular locomotive and train stay on my layout almost all the time.  It's no secret that the Marx windup Commodore Vanderbilt is my favorite clockwork locomotive, and this particular CV is one of my pet engines.  It was given to me as a restoration project by one of my clockwork friends that occasionally posts here.  It dates from about 1936 - 37, and is coupled to a short train of Marx 6" tin cars from the same era.

I enjoy winding it up and watching it trundle about the railroad, trying to imagine how excited a youngster would be to receive such a delightful train during the depression years...   Big Smile

Nice pictures, everybody. Spanky - I thought the roof on the '34 woodies were canvas - of course I'm only worried about the safety of the two young ladies......

Nice job.  A Challenger, 57 Chrysler 300 and I believe an experimental Chrysler Turbine car. The Mels diner is one of the most interesting accessories made.

Mine has 3 Chevy's on it but that figures since all I ever raced were Chevy's.

SMOKE OUT!!!!

I just purchased this MTH Shay and the smoke and headlight were not working.

Well I fixed both and now it is choking me out. Fortunately there is an off switch.
