Nice pics Tom, that's a very impressive layout!
Buckeye -- I was able to spend 4 days and nights the Grand Canyon in early November, I made sure I was up at sunrise and outside at sunset. It was 40 years ago we were at the GC but it was only for one day, I had forgotten how amazing a canyon it is, wow. We stayed at the Thunderbird lodge -- across the street from where the train parks for the day. My last day there I also took a helicopter ride through the canyon, AWESOME!

Last Sunday, a group of friends, Mrs. Buckeye and I rode the Grand Canyon Railroad. Here are a few photos of the train, tracks and scenery along the route. We rode in the Chief Parlor Car to and from the Canyon.
Waving to the critters from the platform.
Our group.
And yes, we saw the Canyon's sunrise..... It was 13 degrees at the South Rim, but warmed up to 58 degrees in the afternoon.
Wow! A lot of work.....it's a beauty. Thanks for sharing.
