It this a ProtoSound 1 or Protosound 2 engine?

Hello All:

I'm a newbie and I'm considering purchasing this MTH Loco 10-1126-1 set. On the MTH website, it says it's a Protosound 2.0

http://www.mthtrains.com/content/10-1126-1

as shown in the above address, but when I took a look at the same set on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161170470241?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

The box says, it's protosound by QSI.

I'm a bit confused as I thought QSI produced Protosound 1.0, so now, which is it? Not that I found a problem with Protosound 1.0, I will make sure the battery is full before I attempt to run it, but I just thought I should make sure.

Thanks a lot!

The manual is available on line at MTHTrains.com (click the book icon at the product info page for the item),  and the manual says ProtoSound, not ProtoSound 2.0.

Though I've encountered manuals that have been wrong, I'd go with it as the tie-breaking vote in this case. The instructions also show the rather amusing clink-clank-clunk procedure for accessing functions.

Thanks OgaugeOverlord. That settles it then.  Looks like I need to get a BCR installed in case I fry the board.

Greatly appreciate it.
