Yeah I guess I can get a magnifying glass out and scour through the manual haha...well I wouldn't be surprised if it was a manufacturing issue, I've had problems with other recent Lionel Chinese products including a Legacy locomotive.
I'm not going to be much help, but anytime I can't get a Lionel Command product not to work, I normally find something in the instructions in tiny print that tells me I did something wrong. My ten year old SC-2s were in this category.
There have been reports that the switches internally were wired incorrectly on other websites.
Then again, with my frequency of repair on Lionel products, it could be a manufacturing mistake made by 李 陈 at the factory in China. She was asleep at the switch a couple of days. (Pun intended.)

Oops typo, I meant the lantern "wouldn't" blink like it's supposed to
Hey there,
Just picked up an O72 fastrack command switch this morning (took a good chunk out of my bank account lol) and when I got home and hooked it up the lights came on and the switch threw just fine with the supplied remote, but when I used my cab 1 remote (still chugging with tmcc), the switch was unresponsive. I even tried resetting it by pressing the little black button but after a couple of seconds the lantern would' blink like it's supposed to. Any suggestions? Anyone else run into this problem? I sent a message to lionel but probably won't hear from them until next week.
thanks to anyone who can help
