Your set is from early in the Gilbert era of American Flyer Trains, after the manufacturing of trains was moved from Chicago to New Haven Connecticut. It is an O gauge, 3 rail set. What kind of information are you looking for?
This link will take you to the 1940 Catalog page that shows your set.
