Jon, I haven't built the Victorian house yet. I thought I might get a chance to get started on it this weekend, but I've had lots of things come up so I doubt I will. Maybe next weekend. I got some 1:12 dollhouse plans, so I'm just going to scale them down to 1:48 and build.

I'm about to check the Scenic Express site now.

Looks nice (the bird and the "gazebo") but we call it a tea-house in holland.. Gazebo, never thought of a name like that..
Daan. I'm Dutch, but only by country...

Nice work, guys. Looks like the big bird is at the throttle.

Maybe I need to get a gazebo to get my love life rolling.

Hi Dave!! I havent seen it in any hobby store, I ordered it direct. I think if you go to www.scenicexpress.com you should be able to find it or at least the 1-800 number. I would love to see the victorian house you built if you could share a photo!! Jon

HI Al,

This is a great time of the year for finding layout things in stores other than hobby shops.
The air vent on top of the Gazebo came with it.

Spanky is doing fine

Jon, is the Scenic Express gazebo a hobby store/train store item? After I build that Victorian house I tell myself I'm going to build for the layout, that would look spectacular behind it.

Tom, I dig the dollar store items too. It's amazing what you can find there that works on a layout.

Jon, what a great job on dressing up the gazebo. We pick up these at one of the dollar stores, yea, only paid a buck for them.

and also this one

I guess we have to get more good looking woman on our layout.

For around 12 bucks this Scenic Express gazebo is pretty neat. But throw in an extra 5.00 for the flowering vine kit and it's a babe magnet!!
.

Of course the the girls in my gazebo are nekked so I'll keep it cool here!!
