I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

Here's mine for this week.  Gilbert's K5363W Silver Rocket Freight from FEB. 1954.Smile  I bought this one as a complete, original set a few weeks back from an ebay seller that didn't know what they had.Big Smile

Didn't know what they had?  That's the best way!  You and the train set both made out, you got a good deal, and the train gets a good home!

Some pics of recent railfan trips with grandson...

First trackside adventure at St Denis, MD.

Same afternoon at the B&O Museum.

Day out with Thomas, Strasburg, PA.

Wifey and grandson from their coach window.

The boy and Pops posing with Leviathan #63 at New Freedom,PA.

The sister to Leviathan, Kloke's NCRR #17 YORK.

On this particular trip, the folks from Steam Into History were recreating the Great Locomotive Chase, just south of Hanover Junction, PA.

I have yet to see a pic or video that truley conveys how beautiful these 4-4-0's are.  If you get a chance, stop out and see them.  They really are rolling pieces of artwork.

Thanks for all of the interesting photos folks.  We have quite the variety this week.  This has always been one of my favorite threads here on the forum.  I hope that we will see more offerings. Let me encourage all of our viewers to take a crack at posting some photos.  It isn't that hard, and they don't have to be magazine quality.

Nothing special this week.  I thought I would show what you can do with the Woodland Scenics buildings that are marketed through the regional home improvement store Menards.  The Blueboard Central Division of American Flyer Lines has added some of the buildings each year.  The downtown area is looking pretty spiffy.

One part of downtown now has 3 of the buildings, including the great three story building with the tower.

This shot actually shows 4 of the buildings.  The building in the foreground on the left is also one of the Menard's buildings.  They market it as Eau Claire Hardware, but a think Woodland Scenics  markets it as Harrison Hardware.
