any train shops in Manhattan?

I'm going to NYC this weekend, and while the wife goes to Bergdorf's and Sax, I want to go train shopping. I've been to train world out in brooklyn but was wondering where else I should go. I've only got access to public transportation, so I'm looking for something close to the subway. Are there any good layouts in the city worth checking out?
