Older K-Line w/ TMCC and Railsounds - Does it quack?
Posted by Buckeye Riveter on Monday, October 4, 2004 7:40 AM
I am considering purchasing the K-Line Amtrak engine pictured below. I own a great K-Line Mikao with TMCC and Railsounds. (The whistle is extremly loud, isn't it Chief?) I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on the sounds put out by this K-Line model. I really don't want to purchase an engine that sounds more like a duck quacking than a diesel horn.

Thanks for your help.

Buckeye, don't know about this one, but I bought a Trainsmaster [no TMCC] from a friend of ours. Runs great but the horn sounds sick. Makes the wrong tone I think. Will be interesting to see responses.
