I have been sorting pictures, and ran across these.  They are from the train club  I was part of.  AGHR (Angels Gate High Railers), these pictures are about 4 years old.

The club actually occupies one of the buildings on Fort MacArthur Army Base.  The base is located in San Pedro, and has a very significant history.  The specific building was previously a supply office.  We believe it was related to the motor pool.

Upon entry the first thing you see is a tremendous trestle, however as this is an older set of pictures the trestle and background is rather old as well and was not finished at the time.  (I will provide an update.)

The next picture show the primary area of the layout.  (Make note of the two guys standing on the far right, that is where the next photo is taken from.)

This picture is looking back toward the front entrance on the opposite side of the room.

Running my Cab Forward, Ive only taken it down there 2 or 3 times, just to difficult on all the detail of the engine.

Also took a 3 truck shay down that day.

And our Cotton Belts, I bought these specifically for the club. One of the problems at the club the trains were ALWAYS at risk.  I lost one set of MTH PS2 electronics due to a short circuit there.  And had numerous rear end collisions.  Always maintained a set of at least 4 or 5 cars to provide a buffer zone.  So I purchased 2 of these engines and Chris and I would run these on a routine basis.

Well, that's it for now will try and get more posted soon.

Picture from Saturday's train show.  Front page in this morning's paper - above the fold!  Wow!

Inner loop is my first train set - 1958 Texas Special freight outfit.

Middle loop is the recent Texan Freight.

Outer loop is a recent issue Space Freight set with a couple of cars added.

Our Polar Express layout is in the background.
