I'm tellin' ya Becky, first the "CTT" article, next thing you know Tom McComas from TM Books and Videos will be knockin' at your door.  Don't worry about posting video, I'm sure others will take care of that for you.

Becky,

Have you thought about making a video of your layout and putting it on you tube? Others have done this and it gives us an experience with their layouts that still photos can't match. Just a suggestion.

Thanks,

George

Jason: The station is at www.disneyexperience.com.  I also recommend www.ss42.com, it's a good listing of free paper model sites.  Look under "Free paper toys" on the left side menu.  You'll also find a link there to sites that have famous skyscrapers.  But you'll probably need to enlarge them quite a bit.

Well, I raided Barnes and Noble today and got my December CTT.  Well done and congratulations Your Majesty, you truly are the Queen of O Gauge!

Now, when is TM Books and Video swinging by for the movie version?

And that photo of you!  Ah, if I was only 20 years younger and 20 pounds lighter I'd come a'callin'.

No wait a minute, when I was 20 years younger and 20 pounds lighter I was already claimed by Lady Firestorm.  Oh well.....

Nice Job, Beskster....very impressive, especially the card stock stuff.  I've seen it before, before seeing it on the glossy pages of CTT remined me of how cool and awesome a job you do.

Great Job!....I was into making paper card models before I got into trains, I remember saving & printing some of those structures you have.     The Disney station with the red general in front is my favorite photo, it looks great.  Do you have a link to the Disney Station card model building? It has been a while since I built any and I lost my links to the sites that had them for down load.

I'm hoping to pull off a similar temporary or portable layout with a New York City skyscrapers &  Atlantic City Hotels type theme, my 1970s MPC era Blue Comet set needs some colorful scenery to run past.    Thanks for the inspiration!

Congrats to Becky.

I just had a chance to quickly look over the article, and what Fifedog posted is the understatement of the year.Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I thought that I was done with the hobby, but what I saw of Becky's article made me remember why I started all of this and brought the excitement back.

I think I speak for most when I say that I'd like to see Becky become a regular in the magazine.  I can't wait to sit down and read the entire article.

Congratulations Becky on making Classic Toy Trains Magazine's pages. I enjoyed the article on your Christmas Layouts. I always set up a Christmas Village under our tree every year. I am from the Parma, Ohio area and I usually don't do to much with my trains during the Summer. But when Winter weather comes a howling, I will be in doors playing trains, er, running my railroad!!

Becky,

I received my CTT and decided to take it to the lake this weekend to read cover to cover.  Congratulations on the great article and the photographs.  I thought it was fantastic that you took the photos.  I still am awed by your card stock buildings.  I do hope you will keep sharing your talents with us on the forum.  I got mine the other day, and I couldn't help but sneak a peak. I normally have a rule against reading out of order, but I had to look at the pictures, and then caught myself cheating by reading a little bit. I'm always stunned by Becky's work with colors, and just wish I had a fraction of her creative talents.

Yup, the December issue is shipping to subscribers but its official on-sale date is Nov. 5th. As mentioned, some newsstands just put the magazine out when they receive it.

I've found that greatly varies between bookseller/hobbystore. Check after the first of the month, I've seen them in stores before the official newsstand date. I am indeed looking forward to Becky's layouts, the photos here have been very impressive.

When will this issue be in stores? I went to get it yesterday, but they had the November issue.
