I haven't seen K-Line's new Shay. I'll probably see it at York. Personally, I would like to get my hands on an RS-1 that Atlas did up in Susquehanna's maroon and gray last year. Alas, I'll have to wait to see if it is rerun.

I have their Mikado and just love the way it runs. Now all I need is a little more room for a nice layout where I can run more than one at a time and a position where I can watch them better. California homes with no basements, BOOHOO. [:(][:(][:(]

I had a chance to really eyeball this beauty in Just Trains the other day. It truly does look great. However, and this is personel, i can't get over the idea that SHay's were small engines on branch lines. I love the little Bachmann model as i feel it truly captures the sprit of the shay. That said i think i will pass on the K-line shay. I love their product but my current money is tied up in getting a thrid rail K-4 so i will be tapped for a while. LOL Bill

K-Line is a real leader. Their Mikados are the neatest thing to come along. I would like them to follow up with a USRA heavy Pacific.

Here is a novel idea, lets talk trains and get off the who's and why's of who runs the companys or who is sueing who. I really don't care who is running what company as long as they make what i want to buy. I run both Lionel and MTH and i would like to discuss there products instead of the garbage that seems to be on most forums. It is alright to discuss these items but we seem to beat it to death. Does anybody really care who the CEO of Lionel is. Ok enough preaching,..Lets talk trains, The subject i will bring up is the new K-Line Shay-- They really have hit the mark on this item- good running, great detail and the speed control is first rate. A great job by K-Line. May be my first K-Line engine.[:)][:)]
