I am trying to find out the correct configuration for running two Lionel 022 switches in a dog bone configuration. How should I power them and where do the nylon pins go? Any help would be great, I am going back to the faithfull tubular track after trying Realtrax and Fast Track.
Can't stop working on the railroad!
For best performance, use the constant voltage plug getting power from either an accessory terminal on your transformer if there is one, or use a separate transformer to power them. Here is the diagram that shows where to put the insulating pins for normal non-derail feature.

Thanks very much. When using the voltage plug there is no need for a ground anywhere?
Kev
If you are using a second transformer to power your switches, then the common terminal needs to be connected to the outside rails, just like the transformer that powers your trains. If you are using the accessory terminal of your main transformer, then the common is already hooked up.
