I have a question concerning American Flyer engine 3107 and even more specifically the remote reverse/manual reverse option. I have seen several examples of the manual reverse where the lever is present in the slot cut-out on the roof. I, however, have not seen (or I don't think I have) an example of the remote reverse option. Was there still a cut-out in the roof for a remote reverse optioned 3107? My 3107 has a slot, but does not appear that it ever had a manual reverse unit attached (I am not totally eliminating the possibility that the motor unit could be out of another engine). Can someone clarify?
