Hello,
Does anyone know where to go to get train wheels, such as the ones in the picture, re-plated? I believe that they are nickel based. I have a total of 24 of them that would need to be done. Any help would be great.

Thank you,

The easiest thing to do would be check the Yellow Pages and see if there's a commercial plating shop in your area willing to do the job. You may have to wait until they have a big job coming up as I doubt they'd set the line up for small articles like toy train wheels.
Another idea: See if there's a gunsmith in your area (no foolin' here!) who does nickle plating. He may just do the job for you as well.
You may also want to check out www.micromar.com and grab one of thier do it yourself Nickel plating kits. It doesn't look to difficult to do and probably would be cheaper that taking it or sending it somewhere.
