Thanks RRlineman,
I was guessing by the replies I got, that that was the case with the above suppliers. I guess I'll have to watch eBay for the parts donors or get lucky at a swap meet.

Model Enginnering had a lot listed as late as 2005. but according to Henning's scale models,Jeff Kane in NY and others, since the CO. has changed hands several times since 2005 most of the FLYER and others parts, both cast and valve gear has been discontinued. only wheels seem to be advailable now for flyer and the others. The lionel parts were alaways the money makers so the Current owner has stayed with that. I just got done doing a FLYER 435 4-6-2 loco for a customer. had to fab a headlight bracket, trailing truck from pieces i had from years ago and hard wire it forward because the orginal e-unit was replace half assed with a lionel one witch was shorting out. good luck finding what you need.
Thanks, but I don't think I'll be able to attend the show. I see you Forum ID is nationwidelines. I'd assume you know a lot about the sets that were sold to J.C. Penney's only. I'd sure like some additional info on these sets. Do you what the correct engine number is? Where there different engine units supplied in the Nation wide sets by AF? You can also contact me by my email: dejunction@aol.com.
Thanks again for the info,
Dan
Eric Trickel still sells parts at York in the Orange Hall.
Does anyone know to date who the supplier is for Pre-War cast parts? Looking for items like Eric Trickle and Model Engineering Works used to sell. Any help.......greatly appreciated!
