Welcome, just find a spot on the Coffee Pot and jump in. Watch out for the guy that has Mayor written on his shirt, he WILL try to feed you grits.

First time at the coffee shop

Good Evening All,

This is my first time catching a cup of coffee/tea with everybody so i thought it would be fun. It's rather chilly here at the Eastern coast of Pennsylvania. Sure doesn't feel like the springs i used to remember; but what can you do. Just to introduce myself, my name is Kevin, and i have been in the hobby since about 5 or 6 years old. Now 35 with a wife, and two boys. I have a medium sized layout, 10x11 or so and it's coming together nicely; but slowly. My dad and i started it about three or four years ago, and with clashing schedules, and just life in general it has been slower than we'd like. So i have taken the helm for the time being. Like to have it done so my Dad can see the whole thing complete.

Busy weekend ahead for us, as my oldest son has T-Ball practice tomorrow, then we are having our annual Easter Egg Hunt at our house for friends, and their children. Been doing this for about three or four years now and all have a good time, and each family brings something as it is also a sort of brunch as well.  Althought tomorrow is going to be just as cold as tonight; but we'll make due. Hope everyone has a good night, and an enjoyable weekend. Talk to you all soon.
