Well this is my first post on this site. I've been making hand rails for some prewar 804's and some Shell tanker cars. I was wondering what type of wire did Lionel use for these. I've used a mix of stainless steel welding wire and .71' music wire. I found while coat hangers bend nicely it seems to big.
