Lionel Fastrack Switch Question
Posted by KEVINK22 on Monday, February 18, 2013 12:10 PM

Hey All,

Just got a lionel fastrack 048 left hand switch today, and i noticed that when the remote lever is thrown in the down position to have the train travel inot the curve that the red light on the remote swith is not lit. I was wondering if anyone new as to whether or not these loghts are replaceable, and if so does anyone know how to do it. Is it just as simple as unsrewing the remote switch, and replacing the bulb, or is it more complicated? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks>

Kevin, look underneath the switch & check the wires, loosen the screws & make sure the wires are not in to far, sometimes when the wire is pushed in to far ,it doesn't make contack, it just bunches up check each screw, hope this helps            Jerry  Marafioti
