DC American Flyer Powerpacks

Any suggestions for DC powerpacks strong enough to drive AF cast engines?I'm having trouble finding info.Need something that will run a 332 DC,and AC units as well.I'm aware of the DIY fixes but have limited electrical knowhow.Looking for something that works out of the box.

Any help will be welcome.

lionelsoni,took your advice and came up with a few possible choices.
MRC Control Master 20 -mode one:20vdc,16vac,mode two:14vdc,80va max ,16vac-total output 100va
MRC PowerG(AG990)-22vdc variable for track,10amp sustained-22vdc fixed for accessories,8amp max
MRC  AG9500-20vdc,19vac,20vdc,30va

I would like enough power to run several sets with the same unit. The fact that both AC and DC Flyers will work seems to be the way to go.Room for expansion is important because I really don't know where this newfound ''hobby'' (obsession?) is going.

I was in this situation with my own DC 332.  The easiest and cheapest solution is to purchase a full wave bridge rectifier from a place such as Radio Shack.  It can be installed in the 332's tender easily, and then any typical AC transformer can be used to run the 332.

I took a 10 amp full wave bridge rectifier, two DPDT switches a small project box and wire from radio shack. I use the project box and install the two switches. One DPDT I used to select between AC or DC and the other DPDT to select between forward and reverse for the DC output.

I have constructed two of these boxes since I have a few DC locomotives. Some are Flyer with bridge rectifiers across the field windings (I hate the 2 position reverse units) and some are S-Helper.
