I enjoy the magazine greatly.
Some of the features I enjoy are the behinds the scenes look at Lionel during different decades of it's
operation, and how at times CTT will take manufacturers to task when the do something questionable.
Three articles from the past are among my favorites:
Lionel's Big Postwar Hudson's (a great study of the 773's)
Special Products for Lionel in the 1960's (story focuses on Bruce Parmett, Marketing Mgr)
Sleepers and Duds (as a Marx fan they gave the mighty 666 it's props)

Firesteel I like the variety of topics covered, including hi-rail, postwar, collecting, how-to articles, etc. I guess I really don't have a particular favorite feature since I enjoy all aspects of model railroading. The toy train hobby is very diverse and the editors clearly work hard to provide a magazine that everyone will enjoy reading. Karl

That is a total fact!
Anything related to standard gauge or modern era equipment.

I enjoy the photo spreads of subscribers layouts, some wonderful craftmanship there. Lou Palumbo's a treasure, and Bob Keller's reviews are witty and very enjoyable.
And I don't want any of the staff to get offended by not being mentioned! There's nothing in the magazine to dislike! A class act all around!
Since I have been a subscriber from day one of this great magazine, I thought a topic on what is the best things we like would be appropriate. CTT favorite features from the subscribers viewpoint is the theme.
My top favorites are the Reviews by Bob Keller, Views from the Underground by Lou Palumbo, as well as the readers articles.
