What a wonderful week, both sons and families were with us for 5 days -- just fantastic.  Then there was all of the food, I need to take January off from eating.  However, there was time for the trains Thumbs Up

This is my wife's favorite scene on our layout, nice warm colors.

Part of the industrial area that the kids LOVE!

And my FAVORITE, our two grandsons enjoying the Polar Express together!  Alex is 3 and Matthew is 3 months, every time Alex visits us the very first thing we have to do is run the trains Smile, Wink & Grin

Jon

So many roads, so little time.

Great stuff this morning!

I picked up this tanker from a "junk' bin at a show a few weeks ago for 5 bucks. Nothing broken but filthy and scratched. With suggestions from forum members I stripped it decided to paint it white since I had the paint available.

Here it is next to my original Sunoco tanker

Jon - Nice pic of the grandson's.

Laz - Pretty sharp looking operation.

Frank53 - Your layout always has a bit of life to it, nice.

Srguy - Nice work on the repaint!

Just a quick video I got as a Christmas present from my wife and mother-in-law, with the help from HudsonJohn and Green97probe.

With time off from work, I've been attending to a few minor projects on the layout.  One of the things that bugged me about my recently aquired Plasticville factory was the fact that the dock height did not match the level of the car floors.

I finally got to the point where I decided to address the issue. I cut down the dock, and relocated the shipping doors to match. Much happier with the resulting appearance.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Nice shot of the grandkids Jon

Laz. If you need any more coal I have a bunch that I got with some other stuff. Got to be sure you have something for Buckeye's birthdays too.

All I had this weekend to share is a picture of a train wreck the grand daughter and I had. Surprise Took out two trees and some pride.

I think I know where that engine came from.  It was a REB "plant" designed to sabotage. Whistling
