Railking Gabe - MTH No Help

Hi,

     I'm knew to this forum but hoping someone can help me.  I made the mistake of purchasing the RailKing version of Gabe the lamplighter on e-Bay.  The roof was missing according to the description.  No big deal.  But upon arrival found that the controller was missing as well.  Seller response? "I don't know of these things".  In anycase, the unit looks pristine, with the exception of missing roof and controller.  All the pictures I can find on the internet seem to show a 3-button controller.  I contacted MTH several times.  They don't have any schematics, and no parts, and can not offer any recommendation.  How can they claim to offer customer service for their products is my question.

     In anycase, does anyone have any idea of where I can get a controller for this and a roof?  There is a black ribbon wire coming from the tower with a modular plug at the end which I assume just plugs into a controller.  Can anyone help me or did I just throw away a lot of money?  Thanks very much in advance.
